Insänd. Dear Mr Salamonsky! We all seel an unconquerable longing to go to your Circus; but 8 olock in the evening is not the time for us. Somehow we cannot make out what is going on down there: the vhole Company seem to throw summersaults all over each other — helter skelter — that comes from the late hour you know! But at 3 ocl. we can look with all our eyes, and admire your beautiful performances as they deserve. We the undersigned, an important number in this community, should therefore consider it an exceeding great kindness if you arranged another Barnförertalluingbefore you leave. If you do, please tell our friend Mr Burgess to be a good boy, and to do some of his jolly tricks; we know he is a great man, and not a little boy, like some of us; but what we want is only a good laugh, so he can take it easy. If he will cut off one man s head with his big sword, and burn anothers coat tails, we shall be very much obliged to him; but he must not fire, as we dowt like firing, at least not some of us Your sincere well-wishers Girls and Boys in the City of Goltenburg. 2 May 1871.
