I anseende till egarens afflyttning från orten, försäljes Målskogs Egendom, bestående af 1 Mantal Säteri och Kronoskatte, belägen i Jönköpings län och Bankeryd socken, 3 mil från Jönköping och 1 mil från Sockenkyrkan. Denna Egendom, som är bebyggd för ståndspersoner, har en utmärkt vacker belägenhet, samt en vidsträckt utsigt öfver Vetterns östra stränder, jemte Staden Jönköping med dess vackra omgifningar. Boningshusen, bestående af Corps de Logis, innehåller 12 rum, 2 kök samt källare, 2 st. flyglar med 6 rum och 3 källrar samt visthusbodar. Ett större spannemåls-magasin alldeles nybyggdt.
