In an article fin the Stockholms Aftonblad of the 1S and 27 April and 4 May last, called the Secret Inheritance, the writer mentions as a rumour, that a person of the name of Jonas Berntson Lambert born in the town of Umeå in the Kingdom of Sweden left his native country for Holland, where under another name probably that of Berntson after his father or Wenman after his mother, he was employed as a Capitain of a Privateer: which rumour there is every reason to beleive from the following information to be a certainty at least so far as regards Said Jonas Lamberts existence and death in Holland, first by reference to the protocoll held by the Magistrate of Umeå dated the 6 May 1740 in wich his parents brothers and sisters names arefinentioned. This Jonas Lambert was a dealer in wines and owner: of large plantations in the colonies and at his death about the Year 1726 left great property consisting of capital invested in safe funds. Documents relative to said property were received at the college of Justice and Chamber of Guardianship Stockholm and entered in their Diary 22 December 1772 under N:o 5288 an extract of which has been imparted to the heirs. Further at a meeting of the Heirs of the said Lambert held at Stockholm on the 7 October 1840: was resolved to assign over one third! of the Amoant of the inheritance they may be entittied to, to any person or persons who can put them en possession ot their lawful claims to said inheritance and this. resolution es signed by 40 heirs.
