To the Poor labouring under diseases of the eye and ear! Being on the eve of my departure, J thus announce to you that J have hired a room in the house of Mr Dalll N:o 42 Kungsgatan, where all poor labonring under diseases of the eye and ear, will be operated on if necessary, treated for their complaints and furnished with medicines gratnitously up to the period of the 21St October 1841. I have given into the hands of three highly respectable medical men of this city Drs Schöubeck, Hultgren and Dickson, who will gratuitously afford you their valuable assistance, all the instruments necessary for Cataracts, Fistula Lachrymalis, as also for the operations of Squinting and Section of the Ten(lons; J have likvise provided all the necessary medicines. Hoping that with the blessing of God this small dispensary may alleviate your aftlictions, Gottenburgh 24th November 1840. Ch. Nayler, M. D. Member of the Royal College of Phycicians of London. I anseende till min nära förestående afresa, får jag härmedelst tillkännagifva, att jag till den 21:ste October 1841, hyrt ett rum uti huset N:o 42 Kungsgatan, hvarest alla fattiga som lida af ÖgonÅ Oronsjukdomar, kunna blifva behandlade för deras åkommor, och om behofvet påkallar äfven opererade, hvarjemte de kostnadsfritt erhålla erforderliga medicamenter, Jag har åt trenne aktningsvärda Läkare i denna stad firr Medicine Doctorerne Schönbeck, Hultgren och Dickson, som lofvat att bistå med råd och hjelp, öfverlemnat de för operationeni afStarr, Tårsistel, Skelögdhet samt Sectio Teudinum nödvändiga instrumenter. Likaledes har jag anskaffat alla erforderliga medicamenter. Och hoppas jag att ni med Guds välsignelse genom denna ätgärd må vinna lindring uti edra sjukdomar. Götheborg den 24 Nov. 1841. Ch.
