Besides the Swedish plants the collection of which is nearly comptiete, there are umong those collected by RButström, many valuable species received from the learned Mr Vahl, editor of Flora Danica, and collected by lamself, during his travels trough Vinland, Germany und Holland. There are also some species, upon which Linnes own handwrt ting Still remains. It consists further of au precious series of herbs from Fast-Iudia and Africa, collected by FPhunherg, Sparrman, Solander etc.; from West-Lndia, by Euphrasen, Osbeck, Ol. Swartz ete.; from Westphalia by Schlechtendal; from NewZeeland, by Lindberg; from Swizerland, by Schleicher; from Germany in general, by Link and Reichenbach; from America, by VPorrezs; from the Levant, by Berggren and tHedenborg; from Iuisswiu, by Hedenborg and Heinmann. Linne, Willdenow und Sprengel are generally followed as to the arrangement, thoughthere is u part as yet not arranged. The whole :s in good condition, and the plants can easily he taken out for examination, and replåced.
